Just the one from the package ... just did a scan of the entire FS installation just to be sure there are no other lingering files out there.

And looking for CYZF only 2 show up...the original stock FS at layer 10 and the modified one at layer 143.

OK, do you have a lake in front of CYZF and can you see Slave lake from CYZF. Looking to see if this a landclass issue.

Hi Tim,

I do have a lake just north of the airport and then another one a little further north.

But I think your first guess is actually correct. When I looked at the airport in AFCAD it is definitely not the correct one....so there must be one more hidden.

I'll report back in a few. Very Happy

Bloody Heck... I just searched for AF2 files when I did the replacement...but UT CAN-AK I guess doesn't use that name.

I found a UT-F1_CYZF.bgl file or similar name in the main AddonScenery\scenery folder, along with a whole lot of other ones. That file gone and all is well in the Sim.

Except for the grass texture which I somehow messed up with the VOZ texture set...it's a rather ugly looking brownish-red at the moment Very Happy Very Happy

Edit : It's actually the gravel areas that are turning up in the brownish color.

Haha...well I am working on a fix. but as usual it's not as easy as I thought. The areas that are showing up in that color are the gravel areas in the AFCAD....but replacing the gravel texture in the main FS texture folder did not make a difference.

I guess I'll have to figure out which bitmap actually does get loaded for this.

Now I'm even more confused than usual. That's the mesh I'm using, but I could've sworn it was free, at least when I got it. Maybe I bought it. Does anyone else remember these being free?? Confused

I've got the Canada / US mesh from FS Genesis.

A 2CD set which was on special several years ago.

But there was a lot of free mesh out there also from FS Genesis.

Sidney im having Military Ai issues in YZF. Could this be related to no Military parking in the FOL? Usual is 6 combat and 4 Cargo in parking configuration up here.

Probably related to the fact that there are no military parking spots. I alway forget those. Embarassed I don't know how many we'll be able to fit on that little ramp. What kind of planes, specifically?

Normal is 6 CF-18's. For cargo its either the A-310 CC-150 or CC-130 or CC-177. If we run out of room we just annex the West Ramp by Doctrine. We do that when the Snow Birds are in town or we pull over a bunch of lost AF Yankee's lol.

Can you give me an overhead shot with that area circled? We'll probably need it. And could give me the links for the ai aircraft you're using? I just need the jet and whichever cargo plane is the largest.

Oh yeah....love the new pic of you and the missus. Very Happy

I use the Military AI groups Canada's package a real POS afcad for YZF not even a FOL Laughing In my case the wife is the Lion as I swim better so its the Tiger for me plus she is Ret USMC MP and more ruthless then me. Only safe place I have to hide in Yellowknife when she is tea'd off is the FOL NORAD Building Laughing
